Position Summary

Within the Hand Tools, Accessories & Storage (HTAS) division of Stanley Black & Decker we are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Digital team. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of the digital marketing and merchandising strategies to support HTAS. In this role, you will apply your understanding of the online marketplace to create digital marketing solutions -- from strategy to development, launch, measurement and optimization -- that drives brand and product awareness, purchase intent and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

* Implement overall digital marketing strategy - serving as the day-to-day digital account manager.

* Actively partner with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, IT support, corporate communications, and customer service to expand education and penetration of digital activity.

* Establish and maintain a consistent brand image throughout all digital marketing initiatives across web, mobile, email, and social owned properties.

* Gather internal customer requirements and use them to create in-depth marketing and functional Requirements Documents for scoping, prioritization and implementation with internal web design and IT teams or external agencies.

* Collaborate cross-functionally to develop a consistent online customer experience and identify new opportunities to increase conversion and cultivate improved relationships with our audiences.

* Identify and develop new opportunities to drive traffic, increase reach, acquire new customers, and increase sales.

* Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, develop and deliver dynamic, world-class content.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create, update, and maintain various digital properties such as websites, landing pages, and microsites. Additionally, collaborate with internal digital marketing team members and external agencies to develop and manage digital marketing campaigns including email, CPC/CPA programs, paid search, SEO, display, mobile and social.

* Proactively develop external partnerships and support contract negotiations with external partners and/or vendors to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the digital marketing investments.

* Track performance of digital marketing campaigns and KPIs. Evaluate market research, test results, and competitive intelligence to adjust digital marketing strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Provide campaign reporting that includes actionable insights and optimization plans to business leaders

* Analyze and measure business impact for brand awareness, conversion and loyalty using web analytics and research.

Requirements:

* BA or BS required.

* 5+ years of digital marketing experience. Previous account management within a digital agency is a plus.

* Strong project management/organizational skills required. Formal PMI training is a plus.

* Demonstrated proficiency in managing more complex web development and marketing projects, including working closely with IT on integrations.

* Strong familiarity with executing best practices in all digital functions including: web development,

acquisition marketing (email, banner ads, online video, paid search and SEO, etc), and web analytics.

* Strong familiarity with mobile marketing and commercialization -- mobile app development, websites and landing pages.

* Experience in presenting digital strategy plans, concepts and campaign results.

* Understanding of web front-end languages (HTML 5, CSS), standards, and best practices.

* Experience with web analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics).

* Understanding of SiteCore content management system or similar enterprise platform.

* Understanding of Hybris product management, or similar enterprise platform, a plus.

* Independent, creative self-starter with ability to multi-task in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment.

* Exceptional communication skills?verbal, written, and interpersonal. Excellent interpersonal interactions with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
