Requires direction working to prints, sketches or verbal instructions designing, building, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
?? Ability to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, upgrade and maintain production machinery throughout the plant.
?? Sets up and operates standard machine shop equipment to close tolerances in the manufacturing of machine parts.(Milling machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders, etc???)
?? Occasionally meets with other personnel regarding construction, repair or maintenance of machinery or tools.
?? Operates forklift trucks and other material handling devices in the movement of heavy machinery.
?? Performs Lock out/Tag out safety procedures per OSHA requirements.
?? Maintains required records.
?? Maintains adherence to company policies, environmental regulations, safety rules, and good housekeeping standards.
?? Performs other duties as may be required.
?? Attendance is an essential function of the job.
?? High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
?? Minimum of 2 years experience in the field of machine maintenance.
?? Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
?? Ability to operate Forklift equipment.
?? Good communication skills.
?? Ability to make independent judgment decisions.
?? Welding ability a plus.
1. Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.
2. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.
3. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
