Location flexible and may be based in either Connecticut or Massachusetts.

This position manages a sales team of Insurance Producers to ensure their goals and business objectives are achieved. This position partners with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies and ensure talent is optimized.

Principal Responsibilities:

Leads the sales management efforts for a team of Insurance Producers to ensure realistic objectives are set and achieved.

Partners with senior management to develop and implement successful recruitment and succession strategies to optimize sales talent.

Builds and maintains key relationships to continually expand industry network to identify and ensure access to a diverse talent pool.

Coaches and mentors individual Producers to ensure they have effective sales strategies, techniques and skills. Utilizes extensive experience and expertise to provide consultative advice and guidance on specific sales issues. Partners with senior management to develop sales training program and process to ensure all newly hired Producers are provided with the resources they need to become successful and productive.

Maximizes the utilization of Salesforce.com as a tool to monitor opportunity pipelines, cross sell within in PUIA/PUB and sales metrics/activity.

Ensures client retention by maintaining relationships on key accounts and continually utilizes network to identify new business opportunities.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.Posted by StartWire
