Industrial Automation Sales Representative
South Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island territory
Ohlheiser Corporation is a well-established and respected distributor of automation products and value-added systems; serving New England for 50 years. We provide pneumatic, electrical control, robotic and motor control solutions to manufacturers, OEM's and integrators. We are an authorized distributor for some of the premier lines in the industry: SMC, Gast/Jun-Air, Panasonic, Baumer, Epson Robots, Turck, Tolomatic, and others.
We are looking for an Industrial Automation Sales Representative in the South Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island territory area
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain sales levels that - meet or exceed - annual sales goals.
Strong sales background in pneumatics, electrical controls, sensors and some experience with selling robotics.
Aggressively grow and achieve the annual sales target in both revenue and units
Excellent communications with all fellow associates and customers.
Master technical sales skills; products knowledge, system design, utility products, with a superior understanding and execution of a proper sales process.
Call on existing customers while securing and maintaining 100% customer satisfaction.
Identify and develop present and future key accounts in an assigned territory and maintain customer database.
Organize, plan and schedule the use of time to provide optimum and effective account and territory coverage.
Develop new buying accounts.
Recognize potential problem areas and take corrective action.
Complete technical and sales training.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
4-year degree or 2-year technical degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong mechanical and/or electromechanical aptitude.
Positive, customer service-minded attitude.
Self-motivated and growth minded individual able to work from their home office.
5+ years of industrial automation sales experience.
