Provide overall administrative support to the Vice President, Communications.

Interact with the Company president's office including providing occasional coverage, Pratt & Whitney's senior executives and their staffs as well as

associations at the highest level

Maintain business calendar and schedules for meetings, events and business travel arrangements including adjustments for changing priorities and scheduling conflicts

Schedule domestic and international travel arrangements as needed, and complete detailed travel itineraries. Prepare and submit expense reports in an accurate and timely fashion

Review and prioritize mail, highlighting important information and following-up as appropriate or responding

Schedule candidate interviews and provide trip support, as needed

Consolidate and prepare reports, materials and presentations

Interface with all levels of the PW organization, the Communications department as well as with external customers in a professional manner.


Experience / Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years administrative experience including at least 2 years of executive level experience

* Team oriented perspective, able to work well and contribute with others

* Familiarity with international customers and international business acumen

* Able to work long days depending on projects / needs and be on call and reachable by phone at all times

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with changing priorities and to multi-task on a variety of tasks and assignments

* Attention to detail is required and excellent follow up.

* Must be self-motivated and have initiative to problem solve and work independently

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information

* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree

* Aerospace or related industry experience
