Position summary:

Function as a Liaison between Commercial Lenders and Loan Administration/Loan Operations (possible contact with Insurance Agencies and Attorneys for follow up) and assist with pre-closing and ongoing maintenance for Commercial files.

Qualifications required:

• Two year Business Degree or banking experience equivalent 

• One year experience in a financial institution

• Proficient in Windows Office applications, Word, Excel and Outlook

Qualifications preferred:

• Four year Business Degree

Essential functions and responsibilities:

•Regular and attendance

•Perform Inquiries on: Credit Reports, Judicial Searches, UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) Searches, Secretary of the State-business research, FFIEC geocodes, OFAC all parties, D&B (Dun and Bradstreet), Internet searches for miscellaneous information, Pacer (Federal Judicial Website) Searches, SAFE ACT Searches (if applicable) and Flood Determination Searches

•Scan and place in electronic files for existing and potential borrowers:  Applications, Financials, Tax Returns, Reports, Executed loan documents, Insurance Policy, Line of Credit Advances, and Inspection documents and construction draw requests

•Compile/complete: Flood Insurance Coverage; CRA/HMDA; Community Development; Appraisal and Environmental Forms (if applicable); 12 month borrowing history; 12 month NSF/Uncollected history; Underwriting Checklist; BSA Checklist; Red Flag Detection Report; and Borrowing base formula for advances and verifies in compliance

•Request and verify receipt of:   Financials; Tax Returns; Insurance Policy; Driver’s License; Availability on Line of Credit; Maturity Date; Clean-up requirement in compliance and Signature for authorization from Borrowing Resolution

•Build/Maintain Credit and Collateral Folders:  Create and build new credit and collateral folder; copy new/renewed/modified loan docs to send to Credit/Legal Coordinator to file; copy updated financials/tax returns and send to Credit/Legal, update insurance policy and send to credit and legal

•Send:  documents to be recorded to loan administration; final approved CO or Memo Approval document to loan administration for preparation of documents, line of credit/construction advance request to loan operations

•Communicate:  when loan administration documents are scanned and ready for review and Quality Control and advise credit analyst of documents when scanned and ready
