Connstep, Inc., located in Rocky Hill, is Connecticut's leading not-for-profit manufacturing resource center, dedicated to helping Connecticut manufacturers and other businesses apply advanced manufacturing and management techniques to become more competitive, while supporting the growth of Connecticut's economy. We are seeking to fill a newly created position - Quality Service Provider-Team Coordinator.

The CONNSTEP Quality Service Provider-Team Coordinator will service client contracts focused on developing ISO quality management systems.

The position will also be charged with leading our 3PP team, through daily proactive outreach, thereby developing and strengthening new and existing client relationships via direct delivery of projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gap assessments/needs analyses
  • Assist clients in developing quality documentation and implementing quality systems
  • Provide quality-related training and consulting services to clients
  • Identify and address quality deliverables and service issues, in conjunction with the Sales team
  • Track and monitor client account activity and performance
  • Coordinate CONNSTEP's 3rd party provider (3PP) network, onboarding new service providers and coordinating with the Leadership team on other strategic/preferred partner relationships
  • Oversee the daily coordination of workload with 3PP staff. Oversee performance, provide support and guidance, and assist 3PPs on issues and inquiries
  • Lead the 3PP team in daily proactive outreach, thereby developing and strengthening new and existing client relationships via delivery of projects
  • Develop providers by providing high-level performance and operational guidance, conducting regular meetings, coordinating timely credentialing of new providers, and conducting on site audits of service providers on an annual basis
  • Consult with the Leadership team to develop network expansion strategies

Role Breakdown:

75% Direct delivery of QMS Services
25% Coordination of Service Provider Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5 years Quality Assurance experience with a 4-year College Degree in STEM field highly preferred

?? Experience with ISO, process improvement, technical writing, and developing and implementing any or all of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 22000; AS9100 quality management systems is preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years Provider Relations/ Vendor Management experience
  • 1099 Contractor knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to interpret and negotiate provider contracts
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of management and staff
  • Highly organized with an orientation to detail
  • Desire to deliver best-in-class service to clients and providers
  • Ability to use PC-based word processing and spreadsheet applications, preferably the Microsoft Office suite of products
