We currently have an opening for an Office Manager in our Hartford office.


The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and productive workflows and processes throughout the office space and in conjunction with building management. This person will oversee an office services team and primary duties will include:
  • Provide timely and accurate customer service to internal and external clients
  • Supervision of all administrative support staff including hiring and performance management
  • Provide office/facilities overview in new hire orientation
  • Liaise with IT Department (Telephone and Voicemail set-up)
  • Responsible for Office expenditures, supply management and review and approval of office specific invoices
  • Property Management and cost control
  • Managing multiple vendor relationships
  • Communicating office practices and updating intranet site for Office Services activity
  • Acting as the primary contact for building management, facility management
  • Space planning for new staff, internal moves, promotions, etc.
  • Maintaining and monitoring building access control (security system)
  • Planning and organizing office events/teambuilding
  • Instituting administrative process improvements
  • Coordinating office catering and busy season meals
  • Health & Safety Committee Lead (oxygen, AED, etc)
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 7 years of office management experience
  • Strong supervisory and people leadership skills are required
  • Ideal candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, team player, can do attitude
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work evening, weekend hours as needed, especially during firm busy seasons
